This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to the collection, use and disclosure of an individual client/customer’s Personal Data (hereinafter defined) arising from the use of our website sgpropertyagents.com also known as Singapore Property Agents (the “ SGProp”). We respect the privacy and confidentiality of personal data and we are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data.

  • This Policy provides information on the obligations and policies of SGProp in respect of an individual client/consumer’s Personal Data. SGProp and the representative agents undertakes to use reasonable efforts in applying, where practicable, those principles and the processes set out in this Policy to its operations.
  • SGProp’s agents and the respective agencies and representatives shall use reasonable endeavours to respect the confidentiality of and keep safe all Personal Data collected, stored, disclosed and used for, or on behalf of, the SGProp.  SGProp shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure all collection, storage, disclosure and usage of Personal Data by it shall be done in an appropriate manner and in accordance to the Personal Data Protection Act and this Policy.
  • For the purposes of this Policy, in line with the provisions under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) (the “Act“), “Personal Data” shall mean data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data; or from that data and other information which an organisation has or is likely to have access. Such Personal Data shall also refer to that which is already in the possession of SGProp or that which shall be collected by SGProp in future.

Managing the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

  • Obtaining Consent: To the fullest extent required by the PDPA, before SGProp collect, use or disclose your personal data, you will be notified of the purpose why it is doing so. SGProp next obtains written confirmation from you on your expressed consent. As far as possible, SGProp will not collect more personal data than necessary for the stated purpose.
  • Information Voluntarily Provided by you: By using or registering with our website or by providing information, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. There are various forms that are available for you to submit your interest with information fields to be filled in. Eg Enquiry/Expression of Interest/ Registration of Updates/VVIP/ Exclusive Appointments Registration and any new forms for time to time. When you provide us with these information in the information fields, it is understood that you have accepted our privacy policy and you permit us to contact you (via phone call, WhatsApp, SMS, email or other mobile communication applications) regardless of whether the contact details(ie mobile numbers) are registered with the Do Not Call (DNC) Registry.   • Types of communications from us are via”phone call”,”SMS”,”WhatsApp”,”Telegram”, “Wechat” , email or other mobile communication applications. We may send emails and announcements regularly to your mobile number or email address provided to us in order to keep our registered users informed about our latest news, projects, product and services.   • Users with malicious intentions such as but not limited to providing the site false and inaccurate information and particulars not belonging to themselves will be referred to the relevant authorities for cyber harassment.
  • Third-Party Consent: If you have a one-on-one meeting with SGProp Agent or representative or do a transaction with the respective agencies on behalf of another individual, you must first obtain consent from that individual in order for our agents to collect, use or disclose his/her personal data. If you consent to us obtaining your personal information through third-party service providers designated by us, we shall obtain your personal information as per above-mentioned including any information registered by you with the third party through such third-party service providers. Further, you agree to give SGProp and our agents the consent to use and store your data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: If you wish to withdraw consent, you should give SG Prop reasonable advance notice. You have to be aware, though, of the likely consequences of your withdrawal of consent, e.g. without your personal contact information SGProp may not be able to inform you of future services offered by us or our clients. Your request for withdrawal of consent can take the form of an email or letter to SGProp, or through the “UNSUB” feature in an online service.

  • As part of its day-to-day activities, SGProp may collect from data subjects, through various means, including via referrals, introducers, roadshows, seminars, meetings, cookies, personal networks and social media, and any modes of communications and forms (e.g. enquiry forms, appointment forms) used by SGProp and the related agencies from time to time, the following Personal Data:
    • Your personal information such as full name, telephone or mobile number, e-mail address, subscription details (ie. Particular information type where you request to be notified of the latest news), and any other information that personally identifies you or would permit us to contact you.
